Julia Follansbee

Veterinary Technician

I graduated from the University of Guelph in 2018 with a degree in Animal Biology, and decided I’d love to have a career as a veterinary technician so I could play an important role in the health care of other people’s beloved pets. In 2019, I started the veterinary technician program at Georgian College where I graduated in 2021.

I started working with the amazing team at NVVH during my school’s work placement and got hired on as a full-time technician afterwards! Being a new grad, all aspects of my job interest me and I love getting opportunities to enhance and refine my skills in all areas around the clinic. Although I love all animals, I am a total cat person with two domestic shorthair cats of my own at home, Cocoa and Mouse. I also have a 12-year-old Pomeranian Mia!

When I am not at work in the clinic, you can find me spending quality time with my spouse playing video games on our computers or having a nice hot cup of coffee while watching movies together with our fur babies and a big bowl of popcorn.
